GENERAL RULES
1.1 The club house is intended for the general relaxation of members, committee meetings, and club
activities. It is also available for private hire.
1.2 Local associations may also have the use of the club house by arrangement for meetings providing
there is no conflict in timing and occupation.
1.3 Members using the club house must carry their membership cards at all times and present them on
request.
1.4 Offensive Language and behaviour will not be tolerated and gambling will not be allowed.
1.5 A reasonable standard of dress will be required, no wet weather gear, no bathing suits, or bare
bodies unless Flag Officer or Duty Supervisor has granted special dispensation.
1.6 All visitors MUST be signed in by their host. The visitor’s book will be situated at the bar or in the main
foyer. Including crew members for after race functions.
1.7 A financial member may introduce up to six guests on any one occasion by signing them into the
visitors book. Any individual guest may be introduced not more than six times in one year. Any one
member must be responsible for his guests.
1.8 Bonifide members of other yacht and boating clubs may enjoy extended visiting rights at the
discretion of the Flag Officer, the Bar Manager of the Day, or the General Committee. Including
overseas visitors.
1.9 Children will be the responsibility of their caregivers who will be expected to ensure that they do not
upset other members anywhere within the club premises.
1.10 NO liquor may be brought into, or taken out of the club premises.
1.11 Not withstanding any of the above, visiting rights will at all times be subject to the discretion of the
Flag Officers, General Committee, Race Conveners, or the Bar Manager of the day.

2 HIRAGE AND BAR FACILITIES
2.1 The legal hours for the Club bar are: Monday to Friday noon to midnight;
Saturday 11.00am to midnight; Sunday 11.00am to 10.00pm.
2.2 Bar opening hours will depend on club events, members support and their requirements.
2.3 The Bar Managers and the Flag Officers reserve the right to refuse entry or to serve any member or
visitor.
2.4 Persons under the age of 18 will not be served liquor at the Bar. ID may be required.
2.5 Persons are requested to keep their tables clear of empty bottles, cans, jugs and unused glasses.
2.6 Bar use for non members functions and hireage requires a special license and must be applied for
through the Club Secretary by the hirers.
2.7 All liquor for private functions must be purchased through the Bar Manager, and Club Bar Staff must
be used.
2.8 All functions must vacate the premises no later than 12 midnight, in respect for local residents.
2.9 All private functions hirers will be responsible for any breakages and damage to the Club house.
Damage to be notified to the Club Secretary immediately after the function.
2.10 All hirers must leave the premises as they found them and remove all rubbish and clean dirty dishes.
2.11 A delegate for the hirers shall be a nominated as Fire Warden for the duration and shall be briefed as
to rules.


3 CHARGES FOR HIRE
3.1 Clubhouse excluding Kitchen and Bar $100.00
3.2 Clubhouse including Kitchen and Bar $150.00
3.3 Downstairs including Kitchen $ 30.00
3.4 Special Liquor License $ 63.00

NOTE: These charges are subject to change without notice.
3.5 Commercial use Double Rates.
3.6 Credit card details will be supplied by the individual or organization confirming this booking.

In the event of default of payment, damages incurred, and/or the premises being left in an unfit, dirty
and untidy manner, further charges may apply.
