PLANTING AT 8 BRICK BAY - THIS SATURDAY 27 JUNE, 9AM Hi there It's time to do some beautifying of the SYC property at 8 Brick Bay Drive, Sandspit. As part of our resource consent, we were instructed to do some planting around the perimetre of the newly established carpark. Earthworks are complete, the base for parking has been laid and this has been over-seeded with grass. The carpark will remain closed over winter as the earth compacts and grass establishes. To complete the project, we have 370 plants to get in the ground, and we invite a troop of volunteers to help with this. If you're keen, please report to 8 Brick Bay Drive at 9am this Saturday, 27 June (park on roadside), with your gumboots and gloves on, spade and/or shovel in hand and if possible bring along a wheelbarrow too.
